Moosehead Vistor's Center

The Moosehead Visitor's Center is open Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am -4:00 pm. We have information available on accommodations, restaurants, shopping, and local activities. Handouts are available on HIKING, BIRD WATCHING, SCENIC DRIVES, MT. KINEO, MOOSE WATCHING, ATV MAPS, RAINY DAY ACTIVITIES, FISHING and other subjects. Copies of the Moosehead Lake Vacation Guide and Snowmobile Map are available 24 hours a day in a box on the front of the building.

We provide information on free camping, fire permit requirements, hiking, biking, canoeinging & kayaking, moose safaris, fishing, hunting, atving, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, white water rafting, float plane rides, horseback riding, bird watching, boat rentals, boat rides and so much more.... .pic
